Truth: I am digging my spring capsule so far (check out more details about my capsule experiments here and here). I tried to fill it up with plenty of good “basics”, though admittedly, I am bad at basics because I’m obsessed with details. I love a good stripe, secret pattern, accent color, weird zipper/button/lace thing going on…so most of my basics have a little life in them. Which is great, but can be challenging to wear all the time. Things have been going well so far, though!
Here are the pieces I ended up picking & where you can find them (or similar):
Pants: AE White Jeans
Dresses and Rompers:
Cranberry cold shoulder dress | ASOS printed romper | Sleeveless Chambray shirtdress (old, but similar) | Knot front gray twisted dress (similar) | Blue and white crochet dress (from Stitch Fix, can’t find anything close!)
Total # of pieces: 26 + shoes (not bad, eh?!)
This is what you’ll see me rocking for the next couple of months! Since I was waaay under my goal for pieces (go me!), I also have a few Rent the Runway pieces coming, so that’s what I’ll be supplementing with, since I have a wedding coming up and a few very bougy engagement party type events where the crowd will likely not be very receptive of my capsule pieces 😉 I’ll keep ya posted how this little experiment of mine goes, of course. Stay posted for outfits and shoe/accessory details!
